Thanks Seok and Stephen - yes a little different for me but I do like to vary my approach from time to time - since I only work in watercolour it helps keep up the interest - I don't want to become formulaic

Your paintings are lovely, and in particular I am very attracted to this one - a really lovely composition and I can imagine the pleasure you had with the flicking of paint for the background. Michael, just realised how much of your work I haven't seen, on going through your lovely gallery. A bit late to wish you a happy new year ( wasn't on the site much at all then) I have let my watercolour work lapse lately..regretting it somewhat. Your portfolio is a delight.

Enjoyed this one - flicking dripping and and spraying watercolour - with some gouache for the highlights. Result - something different, for me at least. Original painted a little while back and now sold. I have decided this year to keep watercolours, cartoons, and drawings in seperate portfolios - a lesson learnt from last year. I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT 2012 AND KEEP POSTING
