Love the contrast between the two [almost] halves of the picture, one side very detailed and the other almost empty - good composition.

Aw gee - thanks so much everyone for your generous comments - they really are encouraging - off to Italy in a couple of weeks time so no doubt another coffee stop painting will be on its way...

Hi Edward, After your kind comments to my posting I thought to have a look at your gallery, glad to have done so, You certainly have a lovely and humorous Gallery but what I would like to ask, if not indelicate, is that I am taking lessons with a target to try and sell some works next year to pay for perhaps a diploma course in around 12 to 18 months, how does one arrive at a price to sell and is there a perhaps size of picture guide or some other manner to determine a price that would be a good starting block. If I am out of order please forgive me and keep your counsel. I will look forward to your future postings as your tonal and free style will help me in my endeavours. Best regards Chris
