You have caught a sanse of movement here Michael, well done. If you practice your cooking skills you could be 'the cartoon chef' on TV! They all seem to have a gimmic dont they?

Great drawing Michael, thought I had seen it before

Well done Michael and Mia!

Thanks stephen, Glennis and Debs for your comments

Wow, Michael, this is a real surprise. I knew it was going to be special, but this is really stunning! I am very proud and happy that my sketch inspired you at this level. Thanks also to Debs for the compliment.

well done michael, and good for you mia how kind and proud you must be for michael to ask you to use your art, well done both of you x

Simple and elegant. Like it.

Thanks Wendy and Pete - I loved Mia's composition and I think it translated reasonably well

Super take on Mia's original sketch Michael, I love the angular lines, gives it a feeling of strength.

I think you have got it line perfect Michael, a great tribute to Mia!.

Thanks Petra and Fiona- hope to get back to doing a few watercolours in the next week or so - I am beginning to get withdrawal symptons

Thanks Carole - much appreciated - I think your comment came in just as I posted comment No12 above

Lovely drawing Michael, a great take on Mia's original art work.

Less and less and still you tell us what you want to get across. Well done Michael!

I really like what you have done here Michael and the way in which you have framed it.

Val, Jane, Denise - thanks for taking the time to comment

This is lovely, Michael. It's a really brilliant interpretation of Mia's superb piece and certainly bears your own stamp of good lines and shapes. Hope your wife is recovering nicely.

Very striking :)

You may recall the superb 'Jockey Sketch' which Mia posted a few days ago. I was really taken by it and Mia kindly agreed I could use it as the basis for one of my minimalist drawings. Well here it is but most of the credit must go to Mia - I merely used her design and reduced it down (reduced it down? - I am getting quite proficient in the kitchen and even using cooking terms now - perhaps cooking could even form the basis of a new series of cartoons) Seeing it on screen I can see a couple of adjustments I would like to make but you can go on forever...!
