Great texture lines and limited colour Michael. My suggestion would be Dunes

Very evocative, Michael. Like Dennis, I'm also treading a sandy path. So, I'm gonna suggest 'Sirocco'. Splendid painting!

Simply elegant, Michael.

How about "Shamal". I remember this from my time in the Middle East. I like it's desolate atmosphere Michael, it looks better blown up, pun not intended.

This truly is a wonderful mysterious painting Michael and probably the best so far! Unfortunately I cannot help you with the title but Beyond is good, Sirocco too. There is a great atmosphere here with windswept dunes and the air full of sand and dust. Beautiful texture.

A very atmospheric painting Michael, I do like your abstracts. 'Mystique' perhaps?

It reminds me of the sola storms that form around planets Michael.

Appreciate your kind comments everyone - think I'll go with Harry's Sirocco - will probably keep this one for myself.

I would have gone for 'Sandstorm' as that is what it suggests to me. I have been in several sandstorms when I was a child being brought up in Egypt and the sky would go very dark and you would see the horizontal lines of the sand being swept along, which is very reminiscent of your work here, Michael. A great abstract.

Great colour and texture and thought provoking, I like this.

Beautiful work Michael - so evocative.

On her recent posting Satu asked for suggestions for a title - well I'm not too happy with this one, not really mysterious enough - so any ideas - single word only? Somehow the photos never do the work justice and that's very much the case here. It's probably my favourite of my acrylics so far but it just doesn't come across so well on the small screen. Mounted in a 40 by 40 white frame
