Love this Michael and the previous one 'Melt' which I seem to have missed on the gallery. Another interesting development to your work. Like me you like to vary your approach and it's very refreshing to see such versatility!

Paintings certainly do have impact when they are pared down like this and I am impressed with the economy of this painting. I had forgotten that I had done an abstract many years ago, quite similar to this in a way. I might find the courage to post it - abstract not really being my 'thing'.

It's lovely, Michael. The limited palette of dusky tones with the breaking light is very effective.
