The colours blending into each other in the trees are great, so are the shadows under the clouds, a lovely work piece Michael,impressive.

This surely is a stunning piece of work, Michael. But, being a "pen-and-wash"-person, I can not compare them. In my opinion, they are two completely different beautiful works and I like them both :) Mia

Well here's the watercolour version following the ink and watercolour sketch posted ealier today - not sure which I prefer - the composition is one I've seen many times and not sure how much I've been influenced by the work of others as it was purely from the imagination without any reference material. Getting back into watercolour after quite a lull - must get out this coming week and take some photos as I'm out of ideas at the moment.
