What a coincidence, very similar to my posting, the ink line brings life to it some how.

A good quickie Michael. that cloud is awesome.

A nice way to return, with a very nice study and looking forward to viewing your excellent variety of work and cartoons. It seems a lot of us have been busy or as in my case flu'ed up, good to get back to painting, viewing and commenting.

Love the immediacy of this piece, Michael. It's very lively and atmospheric.

Love it, love it, love it!!! It's one of those I wish I had done Michael. So crisp and sharp.

This is soooo beautiful, Michael, I like it!!!

Thanks to you all - version 2 coming up which is traditional watercolour interpretation of the scene.

Love those sharp, incisive lines, the palette of colours, and that lovely wet, back-run cloud - which presumably you did deliberately, but even if you didn't it worked to perfection.

Lovely work Michael very Wesson like well done

I did try to encourage that run back but I think it was more by luck than skill that it worked out so well - if only I could always get it so right.

Clean, crisp and concise and very attractive Michael.

Simple, bold, luminous and altogether lovely, Michael!

Watercolour at its best - so crystal clear, its a little jewel.

No it works because of your skill not luck ,and nobody gets it right all the time because painting is really a complex process and one you have mustered here Michael.

Thanks so much for all your very kind comments - just photoed version 2 and about to post it.will post

I like how you have let the sky colour spread, looks great Michael.

Well here I am, a good day behind everyone and many images to comment on in two days. Will start soon honest!<br />The words above express all my thoughts.

That ink just sets it all off. Vibrant yet peaceful if that makes sense.
