Yes, there's nothing quite so alien as human life, which we've elevated to a position of dominance over everything else ... not a happy reflection, but there it is. A very strong painting - and still manages to be beautiful despite the starkness of its message.

The symbolic nature of this painting is actually the atrocities caused by man, and while we are afraid of UFO phenomenon and the potential for alien life, to those forest creatures and woodland flowers which are devastated by our species, we are the invaders, the alien life. Still, ive painted a UFO on the right turned sidewards, a kind of kamikaze action, which in itself symbolises the self destructive nature of man.
