You'd be alright there Michael she's becoming more and more real

O thankyou dennis i actually thought that myself. I think the growing realism has something to do with the paint being uneven therefore depicting better the imperfections in the flesh and so on to greater realism. I think rembrandt was the master of this method of applying uneven brushstrokes to create reality.

I found it therapeutic to paint a woman in solitude as it made me feel i was creating a kindred spirit.
