Thankyou David and yes i agree. I think my mother is in my consciousness as i paint these ladies. Ive always been very close to her. Shes been a tower of strength through the last very difficult two years. She resembles the women i paint.

I despise discrimination of any kind. Im sure many who see this picture will laugh. There are women built like this who are miserable because of it so in laughing at my picture you are laughing at them. I dont find it amusing.
