I'll be honest theres a bit too much boob for my taste here but I agree you should not be pressured by the prudes and nut-jobs. I was flamed and I told them in no uncertain terms it's their problem not ours if they are so small minded to get offended over such things. Paint what you wish to don't let anyone bully you.

Yep, carry on Michael. She's not obscene or offensive in my eyes. A large lady yes, and a bit of a surprise when first viewed, but actually, a life drawing and well painted.

I prefer this one to the other lady posted today Michael because you've painted more of her body instead of just the large breasts and her face. This one has more about her, you've caught her pose. How about painting the whole of her body? There's a challenge for you!

Im not sure if i can paint the whole of her body on a canvas the size i normally use for portraits.

I love the way you have painted this Michael. Maybe it takes a woman to look first at the face, but that’s what stuck me first. You have painted a really beautiful portrait and I like the style and colours very much.

I never intend to paint women as sex objects, rather they are a celebration of womankind and woman hood.

Actually this very painting sold early this morning and the buyer is a woman!!

I don't know who objected, but there's nothing obscene or objectifying about this. Try to take comments like that in your stride - it's only one person's opinion, and as you see most of us don't share it.

Michael it’s sad that someone has criticised your work. You and I have had this conversation before. I like your honesty and your lovely ladies. This is not suggestive , sexist or objectionable at all . There are posts that appear on the gallery that are. This is not. Keep on posting. 🙂.

I am deeply moved by the great kindness shown me by people i now consider my friends. I wish we all lived in the same town. That would be fantastic. Since i have found friends i thought id confide in those who have given such great kindness. Im considered a vulnerable adult. Im a teen emotionally.
