im self taught and one of the problems of that is that you have to learn through trial and error, plus the journey is longer which can be a good thing. ive been using winsor and newton paints and for the first time ive used the fat over lean method. ive always been aware of this method but im stubborn and usually do things my own way. thats all very well when ive reached professional standard but really i should listen and learn more from the accomplished artists.
