This is a picture i started maybe six months ago. its quite large. the colours are more natural in comparison with the sometimes overly saturated pictures ive been doing in recent weeks. unlike most of my works ive applied glazing onto dry paint in this picture which has softened the overall image and blurred some of the contours. despite my often colourful works i myself prefer good drawing to colour and i dont think colour should be an end in itself.
