Portrait of a woman by Michael Hanrahan

She emerges stunningly - art is always a trial and error and that's how we learn. You are doing so well Michael, hats off to you.

Well painted Michael

Another remarkable portrait, and if I say I preferred your first one, be aware (as I'm sure you are) that this is just a personal preference and not a reflection on you.

Superbly done.

I agree with both Heather and Robert. Well done Michael!

Thankyou for these comments. Its fine robert I dont mind at all. You have been very supportive of me for a long time. Every one has their own preference. In some ways I share your view.

Thankyou heather that's a very kind thing to say.

I used to apply it too thick, then in trying to resolve my faults I began to apply it so thinly it would run off the canvas.
