Once again the influence of turner looming over my head. I made some prints of several of his pictures this evening which I intend to frame and put on my wall. I owe alot to him. About 80 % of my paintings resemble his style. Sometimes it's unconscious sometimes I do try to emulate him. I lived in Kent during my childhood and we visited Margate often which was one of his favourite places. Strange that I might have walked in his footsteps decades before I ever heard his name.
