Thankyou very much for all these lovely words. I see there are other cat lovers here. Lovely to see. There are two cats who live downstairs from me and they are always peering out the window as I come down the steps. Always a joy to see.

Cats, unlike dogs, will often let you draw or paint them, without wandering away or tipping your sketchbook out of your hands; don't know if you had a live model for this one - probably not, if the dogs were barking downstairs - likely to disturb any cat. This one is positively regal.

Love the colours in your vase, a super still life oil.

Lovely colourful painting, good pose with the cat. Yes I love them too but unfortunately am allergic.
