I have continued work on this picture. It didnt seem quite like Him nor for that matter is the original which i do believe is only partly by the hand of leonardo. The left eye of christ especially makes me very suspicious. It looks like the kind of eye drawn by francesco melzi. The design, hands and most of the paint application i believe is by leonardo but the eyes especially the left eye as seen from the persective of the subject troubles me.
