I have shown this portrait before. It has gone through many stages and transformations. I cant remember what state it was in on last upload but today i applied another glaze, maybe the final one and so it is complete. I thought of having the subject though taken from imagination as a young nun. There is a religiosity to the image, the facial features and the slight resemblance of the hair to the headgear of a nun.
