Lovely rural scene Mia, love the way colours fade to provide recession. Lovely sunny greens.

This is a nice watercolour Mia, like the flemish farm architecture which you have depicted in perspective along with the composition and tones used in this piece, the way you have left a space in the grasses in the foreground works well to lead you eye through and into the focal point of the painting. Also thank you for your kind comments on my last two posts, it is always much appreciated by myself.

Beautiful Mia....love the contrast of the red and greens.

Thank you very much, Carole, Graham and Fiona. I am always very honoured by your positive comments

So well composed - nice one Mia

Thanks Michael. I always appreciate your comments.

Love the different colours of the roof tops and the mixture of greens you have achieved. The grasses in the foreground blends really well and it is a lovely painting Mia.

Another lovely addition; I agree with all .

Thanks Glennis and Avril for your nice comments.

Done in your wonderful delicate and precise style. I love the tree on the left as it has great light and shade in it. Very nice composition.

Really nice Mia, another gem for your portfolio.

Beautiful warm palette, lovely freshness to this painting.

Wow, Thea, Denise and Lesley, thanks very much for taking the time to "find" me and post a lovely comment. I really appreciate!

Sorry I missed this one, nice sunny scene.

Thanks very much, Stephen.

Lovely and fresh Mia, I particularly like the buildings, especially the rooves :)

A lovely piece, Mia - bright, fresh and very well executed.

Thank you very much, Sarah and Seok. I do appreciate!

A typical farm in the Flemish Polders, just behind the coast. I used watercolour first and added the details with a Conte Pencil - Pierre Noire.
