Alan has his style, and I love it. You have yours, and I love that too. Very different styles, but both valid. For me, as you know, it is your pen and wash that puts you head and shoulders above ordinary.

O dear, o dear, how difficult is that. I wanted to paint a watercolour landscape in Alan's "style" to thank him for all his tuition. At the end, I could not resist the temptation of putting in some details with my pen, and so: it was not like Alan's at all!! After taking a picture of the painting to put on the net, I saw more mistakes... I think I do it all over again after reading your comments! But: I don't want to "copy" Alan, I know I have my own style but just trying to paint so lively and sunny...
