Beautiful little drawing Mia, the plant is very pretty and the bees love it don't they?

Beautiful pen work as always Mia and with the addition of the delicate wash, it's a smashing piece. I grow a lot of it's cousin, the white flowering dead nettle for the bee's.

This is so delicate Mia, a beautiful pen and wash.

This is indeed a beauty Mia and so delicate. And the wash has added to it. Lovely.

Very pretty as it spreads out gently in the sun.....

Thank you all so very much for your lovely comments. Carole and Fiona: no bees yet, because it is too small. I just 'painted' what was there!

Love it Mia - so simple - so effective

Michael and Louise, thank you very much. I always highly appreciate your comments.

Very pretty Mia, a lovely delicate pen and wash.

Thank you very much, Val.

Sorry for the late respons, Kirstie. But thank you very much, I appreciate. I will try to paint and post more in the coming weeks.

In my garden, against the conservatory-wall, I saw this beautiful little plant. Looking it up on the internet, it seemed to be purple dead-nettle. I couldn't resist taking my cartridge sketching book and make a 30 min. sketch of it. Using no pencil but straight in with the Stabilo point 88 marker. Then I gave it a wash with clear water. All comments very welcome. Thanks for having a look :) Mia
