Beautiful Mia, this is such a lovely relaxing painting with super colours that are just the right shade of pale to be completely believable and for us to want to see more!

Looking for a subject to paint in answer to Syd's Forum question on the way of working with pencil and washes in the Artist Magazine by John Sommerscales, I found this painting/drawing made a few years ago. I first made a detailled pencil drawing, adding shadow and structure with a soft pencil. Because it I thaught it wasn't complete, I added some watercolour to it... and there it is. All comments very welcome :) Mia
