Mia - you've made my day to see you posting again - and such a lovely sketch - look forward to more and hope you continue to improve - healthwise that is

Great to see you back, love your artwork. Best Wishes for continued good health.

Thank you very much, Ann, Michael and Glennis for your lovely comments and good wishes. Getting better day by day!

Really lovely sketch, Mia, and art is a wonderful way of occupying yourself while you are recovering from injury or illness. I do like the way you have used the properties of the pen to add the shading and it works very well. I also recognise the wonderful light touch which you employ to good effect in any work you produce. Get fully recovered very soon!

Thanks Thea and Gudrun for your positive comments.

Just think this is great, hope you are having as much fun with the water brushes as I am.

Wonderfull drawing Mia. This drawing looks like my neck of the woods!

A gorgeous piece, Mia! One would not think you were working under such difficult health conditions. I love the variety of your line work, and the very subtle shifts of tone which you're so adept at. I'm looking forward to more!

During the few moments during the day that I was allowed to stay up, I saw an advert about the Staedler - point 88 marker, available in a stationary nearby. After testing, is was not lightfast but watersoluble in a nice way. I asked my hubby to fetch me also a waterbrush and... here you can see the result. I will have to keep those sketches in a box because they will fade out after a while but it was a very plaisant way to keep in touch with drawing and painting during those difficult months. All comments are welcome and there are more to come...
