Between Bruges and Zeebrugge, a few km from where I live, there is a small village called Lissewege. All the houses are painted white and, not far from the main square, there is a small canal connecting this village to the next one. On both sides of the bridge there are restaurants and cafes. All along the canal are flowers and plants of every colour. It is a beautiful view. This view of the little village of Lissewege was my entry to this years Postcard competition and it was chosen as one of her 10 best entries by Ingrid Lyon, editor of Leisure Painter. To complete my gallery, I wanted to add it here. It seems that it is featured in the Leisure Painter Magazine this month, but I didn't receive my copy yet, because I have an overseas subscription. I am expecting it any day now.
