Oh how lovely, Mia. light and bright and delightful.

What a little treasure this is! I love it Mia. It is so very fresh and so very French!

Lovely fresh feel to this, well done.

Thank you very much for your comments, Ruth, Beatrice and Lesley.

Light and fresh, they say - and they're right. I do like the foreground detail as well, which establishes scale - and the precision of your drawing, which has no over-working at all: I've got a box full of dip pens tucked away here. and you inspire me to open it.

Robert, do open that box and give it a go. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your positive comment. Especially because this is not your usual technique. Thank you very much.

Yes your work does inspire , I may even look out my own pens. Nice one Mia.

Thank you William. I am looking forward to those pen and wash paintings from you and Robert!!!

Thank you Kirstie, I appreciate.

Thank you so much for all your kind comments, what a wonderful surprise. I haven't posted in a long time on this site. I have been through your gallery and enjoyed each of them. You have a great eye for perspective, your buildings are all spot on. You do it with such confidence and ease. My attempts on city scapes always end up in the recycle bin hence my wishy washy landscapes. You have given me inspiration to try again. Once again, thank you and always paint with a happy brush. Chito

I thank you Chito, for taking the time to give me all those compliments. It is a real boost and pushes me to continue in that way!

This is wonderful Mia ! I used to be a draughts person years ago so I love the line you have.

I appreciate your comments very much, Beverley. Thank you for taking the time to have a look at all my portfolio's.

Mia - first of all, tank you for your lovely comment on my lemon splosh . Secondly, your watercolour and ink painting are so beautiful they have made me buy some inks and pens x

This again is a pen and wash (my favourite technique). Size: A4 on Montval paper 300 gr. I used a waterproof felt tip pen nr.0,3 and after the wash, I accentuated here and there with a nr.0,5. Details with 0,1.
