two lovely works here Mia! Your pen does indeed give a very nice soft effect. You know exactly when to stop and never overwork these pictures.

Like both of these Mia, but probably prefer the water soluable pen and wash, I sometimes find using graphite soluable pencils along with water also gives you some good tonal effects but you certainly have masterd your chosen medium for this work. Its always nice to know when to stop this kind of drawing and not overwork it, and you have achieved this very well .

I like both Mia. I agree with the above comments, nice soft effect, lovely paintings

I agree with Petra my thoughts exactly. Two lovely drawings.

This image is sharper than the other one and feels very different - more as if it has been on a sunny day. You have such control over how much pen to use and, as others have said, you know when to stop (which is actually the hardest bit I think). Such a lot to admire and enjoy in this super work.

Mia , They are both lovely drawings and your light touch shines through them.

Thank you very much, Louise, Graham, Petra, Joy, Thea and Sarah, for your lovely comments. I also like them both (they are both my babies!!!) and it was very interesting to let you explain why you (sometimes) prefer this one or the other one, or both!

Two lovely drawings Mia, but I prefer this one - I think you can guess why!

Oh yes, Debs, I know. Thank you for your lovely comment.

Clear and bright, I like this. I like the other version too.

Thank you very much, Carole. I always appreciate your comments!

Another watersoluble pen and wash. I love the way the ink reacts to the water. Any comments welcome!
