Lots of interesting strong bold marks Martina leading the eye away to the distant hills, suggestions of trees at the sides hints at possible dark woods ? I like this the viewer can see many different landscapes, really nice work Martina.

I'm a great fan of texture Martina and monotone paintings, although I notice bits of green in this. Very nice effect.

Thanks very much for your comments Malcolm and Adele

This textured scene was inspired by the Irish landscape. I painted it using various tools as well as brushes and pallet knives to add texture and make a more interesting finished painting. It is oil on canvas and the dimensions are H40xW40xD3.5cm.
