The idea for this painting came form a quick sketch I did in pen while travelling on the train from Dublin to Belfast. While I always get my inspiration from the Irish landscape I do like to experiment with colour and texture and let the painting dictate the next move as it progresses. This textured scene was painted using twigs, cloths, scrapers, plastic knives and pallet knives as well as brushes. The dimensions of the painting are H30xW30xD2cm
