The inspiration for this painting was a combination of photos and sketches from Connemara in the west of Ireland. I started it quite a while ago but it was just this week that I put the finishing touches to it. At least I think it is finished. It is a heavily textured painting, painted with pallet knives mostly. I used scrapers and brushes to work back into the surface. The dimensions of the painting are H40xW50xD1.5cm
