This is an imaginary scene painted while recalling views of Ireland from memory. While I always get my inspiration from the Irish landscape I do like to experiment with colour and texture and let the painting dictate the next move as it progresses. This textured scene was painted using rollers, twigs, cloths, scrapers, plastic knives and pallet knives as well as brushes. The dimensions of the painting are H40xW40xD1.5cm
