Lovely painting with unusual and interesting perspective. Nice colours too, Martina.

I wonder why you receive so few comments Martina - I have just looked through your gallery and your work is superb.

Gorgeous painting Martina! I love your style, very inspiring!

Expressive, vibrant work. I really like it and your other work.

Wonderfully expressive work Martina, love the mix of colour and textures.

Smashing work and techniques mixed in

I do like the way that you have flattened the perspective. It should be easy to produce a semi-abstract landscape, but it's not. It's not easier (than a highly realistic interpretation that is), just different.

Thanks so much everyone for your comments. So positive and encouraging and very much appreciated.

A lovely piece Martina - I really like the way the yellows and greens sing out, and you have achieved some great textures.

I agree with the other comments. Your work is really good, really professional

This is my interpretation of a scene near where I grew up in Co.Wexford in the south east of Ireland. While I always get my inspiration from the Irish landscape I do like to experiment with colour and texture and let the painting dictate the next move as it progresses. This textured scene was painted using rollers, twigs, cloths, scrapers, plastic knives and pallet knives as well as brushes. The dimensions of the painting are H76xW101xD1.5cm
