Thanks very much for your comment Julie, particularly about the color palette as I struggled with the colour in this painting and changed the sky and foreground several times.

Oil on canvas H76xW101xD1.5cm. This is my interpretation of a scene in Co.Wexford in the south east of Ireland where I grew up. I used sketches and photos as a starting point but exaggerated colours and changed the composition as the painting progressed.
