This is part of a series of large landscape paintings that I am working on. I started this scene using old sketches of Irish seascapes and then memory, imagination and the desire to make an interesting, balanced painting took over as the painting progressed. I used pallet knives, cloths, scrapers and twigs as well as brushes to add texture. Acrylic on canvas - H76xW101xD1.5cm
