Nicely done Peter. I'm not sure she had a lot to smile about though.

I saw that on tv. Intriguing. The ‘experts’ can’t agree of course. There MUST have been portraits of her painted in her lifetime. That mad tyrant Henry viii must have had them destroyed when he sent the poor girl to the axe man. I like your take on the drawing.

Very good Peter. Maybe this was her very last portrait.

A drawing by Holbein has just been identified as probably of Anne Boleyn in which case it's the only image of her done during her lifetime. I thought it would be fun so see what it looked like in colour (done with paint, not AI or any other digital stuff). I had to make her smile a little, all Holbein's portraits look so damn miserable!
