It's the best part of a year since I posted anything but I think it's time to let bygones be bygones. This lady is the wonderfully named Elizabeth Louise Vigee le Brun, a French painter born in 1755 who ought to be a lot better known than she is - she was brilliant. I have based this on her self portrait but have not tried to make it look 18th century, I've just done a picture in my usual style.
