A lovely duo, very nicely painted

This reminds me of a time very many years ago now when our very elderly dogs barked in the general direction of where they thought the hedgehogs might be, as the latter - totally unconcerned - waddled into the garden to dispatch the slugs and snails. Appealing little animals - unless you're a slug - and threatened by the modern world in so many ways. You've caught their alertness and curiosity, and I hope will have reminded us all to take care of our wildlife while we still have it.
