Max don't feel awkward about the comment on the "eye". I hadn't noticed it so I was really grateful for you pointing it out. I'd got carried away with the colour of the eye shadow she was wearing and getting the shadows in and it just sort of stretched as it went on without me realising.

Thank you for all your comments. I use acrylics and flat or bright brushes never a palette knife. Bear in mind this is a small painting only 20cm sq. Max
