A watercolour of a 20's flapper, taken from a small black and white photo, which means I can make up the colours as I go along! Done during a painting class at the Malden Centre, whilst everyone else was painting landscapes. Painted on Bockingford 'not' paper.

Matthew Sewell
Watercolourist since the 90's, and have just taken up oils a couple of years ago. I regularly paint en plein air with a local group called the Artful Dodgers, and aim to paint at least twice a week now I'm heading for retirement.
