lovely looseness to this painting and bright colours :-)

Like, it looks quiet and peaceful, the foreground is lovely. Is Longford in the old Country?

The Longford River is actually a canal built by Charles II to feed fountains in the gardens of Hampton Court. I was sitting next to the river by a wrought iron bridge in Bushey Park, a delightful spot!

This is a plein-aire painting of the Longford River as it passes through Bushey Park. It was a sunny day, with the water slowly gliding by, dragonflies hovering, fish feeding - idyllic!
