Don't know if you intended this or not, but if you look in the middle area, there are at least two faces grinning out at you; normally, I should find that a problem in a painting, but in this one I think it adds to it, imparting an even stronger sense of vigour and movement.

The Torrent Walk is a well-known walk near Dolgellau, mid Wales. This was painted on the spot in ink, watercolour, wax resist and oil pastel.
