Edward Wesson always called Ted. was a great artist and teacher and I to admire his work and style from his causes. I have tried this subject as a break from the norm and find it gives a certain abstract feel. As a return to pastel you have created a very pleasing image with quality pastel work.

I've been working with pastels again. This is the first time I have used this medium for a number of years. I like using tone and I don't consider myself to be a colourist. But I'm actually quite proud of this piece.
