Agreed super capturing of the pier being destroyed, this seems to have been the end of many piers around the countries seaside resorts, certainly was here in Morecambe, where we once had two piers and even a replica of an old Galleon that only survived until the early 1980's I think! This s a super painting of a very dramatic scene
