Believe me, there is nothing wrong at all with your massed greens. I believe the best way to deal with them is generally speaking to add touches of a red, the complementary colour - you've done that and it's worked.

This one reminds me of an old English watercolour, I like the composition and the light in this painting, your greens work for me!.
