You have made a remarkably good job of your first attempt! Like this a lot, great recession and strong composition.

I agree that snow is harder than one would imagine, after my first attempt, but I think this is excellent - love the building in the background.

What a lovely wintery scenery. Brilliant first attempt.

Works well - almost a friendly shape in the tree at the left; it seems to be grinnng at us. I think one of the secrets to painting snow is to keep the shadows pale - cerulean, rose, and raw sienna, depending on the light, seem to work best - and you've achieved that. The sky is right, too; makes a lot of difference.

A beautiful painting, good recession.
