this is a very good painting and I like the way you are being loose I agree with what you say about the tonal value,but you are a very good painter ,,

Nope I love it Just the way it is. I have seen and felt nature just like this.

If you are concerned about the tones, perhaps strengthening the foreground colour would give better recession, do you think? Your composition is very attractive, and some darks here might bring it all together. Perhaps strengthen your middle ground a tad as well....at present your tones are very much alike.

The neutral grey seems to extend from the cliff into the ground of the farthest field, which I suspect it shouldn't. Stronger green in the immediate foreground would help the effect of recession. Excellent drawing, though.
