What a beautiful winter scene - you have really succeeded with keeping the trasparency and like the delicate blue shadow on the snow.

Great Painting Robert. What happened to the blokes other leg? Only kidding. I wonder if another tuft of grasses to the right side at the topish ares of the shadow would have helped somehow. Just looks a bit empty there. To me anyway. Fine work though mate.

Not sure what CC means about grass totally disagree about that bit, sorry, i think the content of the frame is fine as it is. As for the missing leg, this is clearly a fine picture of Heather Mills "walking" her dog. good picture robert.

another finely renderd church -welldone a lovely winter scene. its quite strange what some p eople see or not see in a picture----i agree with you jay jay-- your comments made me laugh- some artists on here have made comments about --naff birds in a sky in a painting----- apparently they should not be there--!!! well i respect others opinions---but if they are not in the trees or on the ground then they are usualy in the sky----thats the natural order of life on planet earth. isn;t it???.

Thanks for the comments - after taking up painting about 5 years ago - this painting is/was only my second at five attempts at an oil painting - two of those that followed are also in the gallery - so all comment is helpful
