An interesting portrait, Mark. To use the three main colours in a pallet is brave. Your brushwork looks free and purposeful, no muddy areas, and un-fussy. The addition of the low key green works well and helps to bring the portrait to the fore. Lovely work.

I agree. I really like your style, which I think I have mentioned before. It's nice to see you using oils.

The urge to copy is incredibly mind boggling difficult to resist. I struggle with that, and yet what you see is just a simple surrender to an impulse to be myself.Thank you for your observations.
