Am I having a " senior moment " or have I commented on this lovely dog in a previous life? Anyway, you've captured lovely expressive eyes and a healthy glossy coat. Beautiful. ( I love dogs, can you tell? !!! )

Excellent pastel work. He looks lovely and shiny (like Val I think it must have been another Labrador name of Max), I like dogs too.

\lovely painting and beautiful coat, done from an unusual viewpoint looking up at him. May I suggest that you tone down just the top of the shadow that runs up to HIS left eye (our right) as it seems to make his upper face look rather flat
