OMG Mark! This is exceptional, your portrayal of the fur here is way beyond good, everyone struggles with it in one way or another, I guess after doing so many pet portraits you have really perfected the skill, did you use soft pastel pencils? And how long did it take you? The short fur around the features of the face, the white fur, everything, not least the eyes, absolutely gorgeous, I am so envious of your obvious skill here

Thankyou for your comments Ros and Sarah, I used a few soft pastel pencils for the finer details. Altogether this took about 16 hours to complete.

This is a wonderful painting. I love the fur and the dog's expression. The ears are glorious too.
