I like this, although I'm no watercolour artist, like all mediums concentrating on the contrast between darks and lights will really help

This watercolor is striking. You did a great job with the the bowl, letting it bleed into the background. Wonderful muted colors of onions and bowl. Wonderful watercolor.

Onions in a pan from a picture using a speedlight. I find it very difficult generally creating depth in my watercolour drawings. Too many layers and it becomes muddy. Too little colouring and no depth is created. It seems that I must practice more diluting the colour while putting in on paper and before it dries...
